In the dead of January, music and imagery keeps us warm. Both are part of the 2018-2019 Music on the Hill concert series at High Mowing School’s next concert—“In the Garden of Affections: Works by Alessandro Scarlatti” on Saturday, January 26. This program features the Concerti, Sinfonia, and secular cantata "Bella Madre dei Fiori” (beautiful mother of flowers) by the often-overlooked Italian master—Alessandro Scarlatti. The concert series is sponsored by Ciardelli Fuel Company, the New Hampshire Anthroposophical Society, and High Mowing School. Refreshments would be sold.
