Amherst Lions Seek Registrations for 7th Annual Car, Tractor and Truck Show The event, set for Saturday, Aug. 19, at the Amherst Walmart, 85 Route 101A, will have first- and second-place trophies and cash awards in 16 categories including Best of Show, Best American pre-1950, and best Corvette. Cost is $10 per vehicle with gift bags for the first 100 entries. In addition, all registrants will be entered into a free sponsor-supported raffle. The event is free and open to the public, 9 am-3 pm, with judging of entries at 2 pm. In addition to music and vendor displays, food and beverages will be available for purchase. All net proceeds go to the club's charity efforts in the local community.
