DESCRIPTION:Amherst Lions Seek Registrations for 7th Annual Car\, Tractor and Truck Show The event\, set for Saturday\, Aug. 19\, at the Amherst Walmart\, 85 Route 101A\, will have first- and second-place trophies and cash awards in 16 categories including Best of Show\, Best American pre-1950\, and best Corvette. Cost is $10 per vehicle with gift bags for the first 100 entries. In addition\, all registrants will be entered into a free sponsor-supported raffle. The event is free and open to the public\, 9 am-3 pm\, with judging of entries at 2 pm. In addition to music and vendor displays\, food and beverages will be available for purchase. All net proceeds go to the club's charity efforts in the local community.
